As a cross-disciplinary consultancy, Sopra Steria’s main impact on society is through the wide range of client projects that we deliver – from IT maintenance projects to business consulting and innovation. To give a fair and transparent view of this impact, we needed to find a way of measuring both financial and sustainability related results, while condensing it into an accessible, engaging report.

Measuring and presenting results in an engaging way 

 To ensure an engaging report, designers and video creators in EGGS, Part of Sopra Steria have worked with thoughtful design choices. This includes a strategic selection of animations and video material, to ensure a dynamic feel. The external photography agency OIOIOI have helped generate high quality photo material.

For the report to bring value, it must be read and not left in a drawer, or digital folder, collecting dust. Hence, we decided to go for an interactive, digital format and developed the report as an interactive website. To create an engaging user experience, we have put a lot of effort into designing both content and visual elements in an accessible, easy to read and visually appealing way. Apart from infographics, text and images, we have also included video material to enhance the story telling and understanding. This approach, that combines interactivity with strong visual storytelling, improves the reading experience and makes the report more dynamic.

Sopra Steria Footprint has ensured that the report adheres to the highest possible standards as we work towards full alignment with the CSRD.
In the design and development of the website, we have focused on creating a quick and responsive site that works well on both mobile, desktops and tablets.


An interactive, digital and integrated report 

The report is optimised for all screen sizes and ensures that interactive elements adjust to the screen in an intuitive way. With the use of interactive infographics, it’s easier for the reader to explore information and data and get an overview of key results.

Thanks to the integrated format, where both financial results and sustainability results are presented in an interactive way, the report provides an extensive yet easily accessible summary of Sopra Steria Norway’s impact. 

The interactive design and visual elements make it easier for the reader to understand and explore the information. By making the results easily accessible and easily interpreted, it contributes to building trust through transparency – both with partners and clients, as well as internally in the organisation. And, most importantly, it gives Sopra Steria a foundation to build on to secure that the work with moving towards sustainable operations can continue in a meaningful way.

Strengthened trust and transparency through easily interpreted information

The interactivity is a key component in the report. We have used VEV – a no-code tool, to implement the dynamic and interactive element that the reader can explore while going through the pages of the report. Moreover, by applying an adapted, lighter coloured version of Sopra Steria’s existing colour palette, we have ensured that the report is aligned with, and connected to, the Sopra Steria brand and the corporate website.
